Introduction
Friends, this guide brings together conservative and pro-life recommendations for Oregon’s November 3, 2026 general election so you can vote with confidence. It draws on four sources: the Taxpayers Association of Oregon (TAO), publisher of OregonWatchdog.com, OregonCatalyst.com and Oregon Tax News; the Oregon Family Council (OFC) 2026 Christian Voter’s Guide; the Oregon Right to Life PAC (ORTL) 2026 Pro-Life Voter Guide; and National Right to Life (NRLC), which endorses in federal races through the National Right to Life Victory Fund.

How to Read This Guide
TAO column – “Endorsed (TAO)†= endorsement published by TAO. “Endorsed (TAO, per OFC guide)†= TAO support as listed in the Oregon Family Council guide. “No TAO endorsement†= no TAO recommendation found.
Oregon Right to Life PAC column – “Endorsed†and “Endorsed Incumbent†are ORTL PAC’s own labels. “No Candidate Endorsed†means ORTL’s voter guide lists the race but endorses no one. “Opposed†means ORTL PAC is campaigning against that candidate. “No endorsement found†means we found no ORTL pick for that race. ORTL’s voter guide is personalized by address – look up your own ballot at https://oregon.lifevote.net/.
National Right to Life column – NRLC endorses in federal races only and has made no Oregon endorsements for 2026.
OFC column – OFC does not endorse candidates. It publishes each candidate’s YES/NO answers on 8 issues: Life, Abortion Funding, Education standards, Parental Rights, Women’s Sports, Opposes New Tax (HB 3991 referendum), Immigration cooperation, and Faith & Liberty. We show how many issues each candidate answered YES (the pro-family position) out of the issues where OFC had information. “Declined†means the candidate refused the questionnaire.
Return Your Ballot!
Ballots must be dropped at an official drop box or county elections office by 8:00 PM on Tuesday, November 3, 2026, or mailed with a postmark no later than Election Day. A postmarked ballot counts if the county receives it within 7 days after the election (U.S. Supreme Court upheld this in Watson v. RNC, June 29, 2026). The Secretary of State recommends mailing by October 27. If you mail later, ask the post office to hand-postmark your ballot. Remember to sign your return envelope! Check your ballot status at My Vote (sos.oregon.gov).
Ballot Measures
Statewide: There are NO statewide ballot measures on the November 3, 2026 ballot (Oregon Secretary of State). OFC’s general guide makes no measure recommendations. Neither Oregon Right to Life nor National Right to Life has taken a position on any measure on this ballot.
The gas tax referendum (Measure 120 – HB 3991 gas tax, payroll tax and DMV fee increases) was moved by the Legislature (SB 1599) from November to the May 19, 2026 election. TAO founder Jason Williams was a chief petitioner with Sen. Bruce Starr and Rep. Ed Diehl; a Marion County judge upheld the move. TAO urged NO, and voters rejected the gas tax by about 83%. It is not on the November ballot.

Judicial candidates cannot ethically answer issue questionnaires; OFC’s Judicial Candidate Guide gives background profiles only (education, party, experience). Party shown is as listed by OFC; judicial races are nonpartisan on the ballot. No ORTL or NRLC endorsement was found in any judicial race.
Local (County & City)
Only local races covered by TAO or OFC are listed. Portland City Council uses ranked-choice voting with multiple seats per district; TAO-supported candidates are listed without ranking order (none was published). Local measure recommendations appear in the Ballot Measures section.
